Former Australian international goalkeeper Mark Bosnich celebrates his 52nd birthday today. Bosnich had two spells with Manchester United with nine years at Aston Villa between.
After leaving Old Trafford for the second time, Bosnich joined Chelsea in January 2001. They were to be his final club in England and he ended his career in Australia.
Glenn Whelan is 41 today. The former midfielder won 91 caps for the Republic of Ireland between 2008 and 2019, scoring twice.
Whelan started his career at Manchester City, where he went on two loan spells to Bury. He moved to Sheffield Wednesday in 2004, before later playing for Stoke City, Aston Villa, Hearts, Fleetwood Town and then finally Bristol Rovers.
