Former Real Madrid manager, Zinedine Zidane could be the next man in line to replace Thomas Tuchel at the end of this season ( 2023/24).
There have been reports from Marca that Bayern Munich have reached out to Zidane with a proposal to take over from the start of the 2024/25 season, with former Bayern player Franck Ribery possibly coming in as his assistant manager. Bayern had announced in February 2024 that Tuchel would leave the club in the summer after a poor season that saw them lose the Bundesliga to Bayer Leverkusen.
Zidane has not managed any club since he left Real Madrid in May 2021 which is three years ago. However, there are reports from France that Zidane is holding out for the France job, which is currently held by Didier Deschamps who will probably be in charge until the end of the 2026 World Cup.
Zidane won La Liga twice as Real Madrid’s manager, as well as two Spanish Super Cups, two UEFA Super Cups, and two Club World Cups in addition to his three Champions League titles.
