Super Eagles of Nigeria midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has attracted the attention of four top clubs in Europe according to reports.

Reports now indicate that the Super Eagles of Nigeria midfielder Wilfred Ndidi is set to be one of the hottest players in the June 2024 transfer window as four top clubs in Europe are currently vying to sign the star midfielder whose contract with Leicester City expires in the summer.

Ndidi has been a Leicester City player for seven years after he joined from KAA Gent in Belgium. Throughout his time with the club, he has featured in 270 matches, scoring 16 goals and providing 18 assists. Despite rumours of a transfer to Manchester United last season, Ndidi’s progress was hindered by injury setbacks, which put an end to the talks of a move.

However, this season he has been in excellent form, playing in 29 English Championship games, and showcasing his versatility under coach Enzo Maresca. While talks for a contract extension continue, Ndidi may leave King Power Stadium as a free agent at the conclusion of the current campaign. Numerous clubs, including Sevilla, Getafe, West Ham, Everton, Galatasaray, and Fenerbahce, have reportedly expressed interest in him. According to a recent report by CaughtOffside, Crystal Palace has emerged as a contender for Ndidi’s signature.
