Nollywood is mourning the loss of one of their veterans, Baba Ogunjimi. The news was shared by Kunle Afod on Instagram, expressing that they did their best but God had other plans for the actor. Rest in peace, Baba Ogunjimi.

His passing adds to the growing list of deaths in Nollywood, with 7 members lost in the past four months. Recently, Pa Zulu Adigwe passed away, followed by Junior Pope’s tragic drowning incident at Anam River in Anambra State.

Additionally, upcoming actress Jumoke Aderounmu, known for her role in Funke Akindele’s TV series, also passed away.

It’s a difficult time for the Nollywood community as they bid farewell to their talented colleagues.
