VeryDarkMan utilized social media to criticize Nigerians for placing more trust in the FCCPC than in him.

The FCCPC had previously issued a statement indicating that the Chinese-exclusive store was refusing entry to Nigerians, and that the products were labeled in Chinese rather than English.

Additionally, they highlighted that the prices of the goods were being exhibited in the Chinese official currency, Yen, rather than Naira.

Commencing with disparaging remarks towards Nigerians, he suggested that the average Nigerian lacks wisdom, asserting that while school may be deceitful, education is not.

VeryDarkMan refuted the FCCPC’s claims, clarifying that the so-called ‘supermarket’ was merely an estate shop and was sealed due to tax evasion.

Moreover, he pointed out that in the initial video where demonstrators alleged the presence of a Chinese-only supermarket in the premises, they were actually indicating the wrong direction.

The contentious activist alleged that the Chinese woman who owned the store had designated a section of her residence for storage, emphasizing that it did not constitute a fully-fledged supermarket.

Challenging the protesters to oppose his assertions, he taunted them and insinuated that they might have been instigated by external forces to expose the business.

It is noteworthy that VeryDarkMan had filmed a video in which he explored the estate containing the Chinese restaurant as part of his investigation.

He contended that residents of the estate were permitted to shop at the establishment, while outsiders were not granted access by the management.

Subsequently, he boasted that his entry into the Chinese establishment was permitted solely due to the reputation of integrity he had cultivated for himself.
