Calum Yacoubian is product director of Linguamatics, a company acquired in 2019 by IQVIA the huge data/clinical trials company itself a merger of IMS and Quintiles about a decade ago. Linguamatics is in the business of helping providers, payers and others with clinical background research based on NLP, and now with generative AI, is democratizing the ability to use NLP. Their case studies include for example trying to find patients with SDOH limitations, because they can aim LLMs at their data for summarization, and use them to help with data extraction from unstructured medical records.
