President Bola Tinubu, on Wednesday, after the weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting, appointed seven new ministers to his cabinet.
Naija News reports that the President appointed Bianca Odinaka Odumegu-Ojukwu as the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs.
The President, who sacked five ministers in his cabinet, also appointed six others.
Here are eight things to know about Bianca Ojukwu:
– Bianca Odinakachukwu Olivia Odumegwu-Ojukwu was born 5 August 1968
– She is the widow of former Biafra warlord, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu.
– She has three children with her late husband Odumegwu-Ojukwu.
– Bianca is a multiple international pageant titleholder, having won Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria, Miss Africa, and Miss Intercontinental.
– She was the country’s ambassador to Ghana and became Nigeria’s Ambassador to Spain in 2012.
– The nominated minister is the sixth child of former Anambra State Governor, Christian Onoh.
– In 2011, she was appointed Senior Special Assistant on Diaspora Affairs by President Goodluck Jonathan
– In 2016, Bianca received a master’s degree in International Relations and Diplomacy.
