Human rights lawyer, Deji Adeyanju has disclosed that social media activist, Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, has been detained by the Nigerian Police.

Naija News reports that this is coming hours after VeryDarkMan had, in a viral video, apologised to the Police was using their uniform.

In a post on social media platform X on Thursday night, Deji Adeyanju said VDM was detained after honouring a police invitation.

He wrote: “Our client, VDM has been detained after honouring police invitation just like yesterday.

“VDM who has been consistent in saying the Nigerian Police are our friends even when we all know they are not.”
