Super Eagles forward Victor Boniface has dismissed recent rumors about his alleged breakup with Norwegian influencer Rikke Hermine, labeling the reports as “fake.”

Social media has been abuzz with claims that the Bayer Leverkusen striker ended his relationship with Hermine over disagreements about legal marriage terms.

Reports suggested that Hermine demanded a marriage without a prenuptial agreement, a condition Boniface was said to have declined.

However, in a now-deleted post written partially in Pidgin English, the Nigerian football star categorically denied the claims, setting the record straight.

“Stop posting fake shit you guys know nothing about,” he wrote on X on Thursday, before saying, “People will just pick their phones and post without verification. Not everyone is like your sister. So, respect yourself. Everything you guys say about her are all lies.”

Boniface was an integral part of the Leverkusen side that won the Bundesliga in an unbeaten run which also saw them lift the German Cup.

He has so far played a pivotal role for Xabi Alonso’s men this season and will be expected to feature for Nigeria when the qualification race for the 2026 World Cup returns in March.
