Jamal Musiala has committed his future to Bayern Munich by signing a contract extension which will keep him at the Allianz Arena until the 2030 summer transfer window.

There have been reports that Jamal Musiala could leave Bayern Munich at the end of his initial contract which ends in 2026. However, the talented midfielder decided to sign an additional four-year contract as a sign of commitment to Bayern Munich.

What did Jamal Musiala say about his decision to extend his contract with Bayern Munich?

The German international confirmed that it was an easy decision for him to extend his contract with Bayern Munich.

“I am really happy. Bayern is one of the biggest clubs in the world. I took my first steps in professional football here and firmly believe we can achieve something big with this club in the coming years. I feel at home both in Munich and at the club with our great fans. We’ve got a lot of things we want to achieve. I’m excited for everything that’s to come.”

Some top clubs like Real Madrid and Manchester City have shown interest in the midfielder in the past but this decision means they would have to find another midfielder as a replacement to fill the void at their club.
