American forward Christain Pulusic has directly addressed rumours of his possible departure from the Serie A giants AC Milan in the summer window.

On Thursday, U.S. international Christian Pulisic dismissed reports suggesting a conflict between him and AC Milan’s new head coach, Sergio Conceicao and a possible exit from the club. The winger clarified that he has no issues with the current setup at the club.

Speculation about a potential rift surfaced following Milan’s Champions League elimination against Feyenoord on Tuesday, where Pulisic was substituted in the second half. Italian media reports claimed that tensions in the Milan dressing room were high and that Pulisic had requested a transfer.

However, Pulisic firmly denied these claims in a statement shared on AC Milan’s social media platforms. “I have never had a disagreement with the coach, nor have I asked to leave,” he stated. “I am very happy at Milan and want to continue wearing this jersey. Reading such falsehoods is unacceptable, but we must stay united and continue fighting on the pitch for the club and our supporters.”

Pulisic has been one of Milan’s standout performers this season, maintaining his strong form even under Conceicao, who took charge in January and guided the team to a Supercoppa Italiana triumph. In 13 matches under the new manager, Pulisic has contributed four goals and four assists across all competitions. He currently leads the squad in overall goals with 12 and also tops Milan’s Serie A assist chart with six.

Recent reports have indicated that Pulisic is considering signing a new contract with Milan. In an interview with GOAL, the American forward spoke about rediscovering his joy for the game since making the switch to Italy.
