President of the Nigerian Senate, Godswill Akpabio, has claimed that he stayed overnight at the Dangote Cement factory in Obajana, Kogi State during the wedding of Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan.
He made this statement while addressing the Senate during a discussion on the sexual harassment accusation brought against him by Natasha.
Akpabio referred to Natasha’s husband as his close friend and brother, mentioning that he had spent three days in Kogi for the wedding festivities.
He said, “Natasha is the wife of my very good friend and brother—or so I thought. On the day of her marriage, I slept in Kogi, in her house.
“The next day, I ran to Obajana airport, but I missed my flight because the plane could not land since there was no light. I ended up sleeping at the Dangote Cement factory, so I spent three days.”
