Evan Ndicka eyes return to Roma’s line-up in Bayer Leverkusen showdown

Evan Ndicka has resumed training following his recent health scare in the match against Udinese on 14 April.

Upon responding positively to a number of cardio exercises and tests, the Ivorian defender was given the green light to return to Daniele De Rossi’s disposal.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Ndicka will be back with the team on the weekend when Roma face Napoli in the league.

However, De Rossi’s plan is to have him inserted back into Roma’s starting formation for the first leg of the Europa League semifinals with Bayer Leverkusen on 2 May.
