Vinicius Trolls Barca Star After La Liga Win!

Vinicius Junior, a star player for Real Madrid, had a blast on social media after his team clinched their 36th La Liga title. The celebration came right after Real Madrid’s victory over Cadiz and Barcelona’s slip-up against Girona. Vinicius couldn’t help but poke fun at a Barcelona player, Ronald Araujo, who had previously called a Barcelona win over Real Madrid the start of a “new era.”

Remember when Araujo boasted about a new dawn for Barcelona after they beat Real Madrid 3-1 during the 2023 Spanish Supercup? Well, the tables have turned. Real Madrid has dominated four out of the last six Clasicos, including the last four matches. Vinicius cheekily quoted a tweet listing Real Madrid’s young players’ achievements with the words “the new era” and an emoji of eyes, throwing some serious shade Araujo’s way.

Interestingly, the Real Madrid squad chose not to celebrate together right after their win. Instead, they’re planning a big bash this coming Sunday. And with rumors swirling about Araujo possibly leaving Barcelona this summer, this might have been his last Clasico face-off.
