US sells 2-year notes at 4.917% vs 4.907% WI

  • Prior was 4.898%
  • Bid to cover at 2.41 vs 2.66 prior

Heading into the auction, US 2-year yields were 22 bps above the post-CPI low from May 16.

This 1 basis point tail isn’t going to help the risk mood and we have more supply coming at 1 pm ET with the $70 billion five-year sale.
