France May consumer confidence 90 vs 91 expected

After a modest recovery last year, French consumer sentiment appears to be stalling in recent months. Of note, it continues to keep below its long-term average of 100. There is a slight uptick in unemployment fears, with the reading there seen at 27 in May. And that is highest since August 2021.
