English fullback Max Aarons is once again being linked with Roma this summer.
It was three years ago that Aarons, then 21 years old, seemed on the verge of joining the Giallorossi from Norwich.
However, things did not pan out and negotiations between the two clubs did not reach a positive conclusion.
Instead, Aarons joined Bournemouth a year ago, although his first season at the English side did not go as planned.
Aarons was largely unavailable due to injury and featured only in 22 games for the Cherries, collecting only 1 assist along the way.
The defender’s scarce usage in England has caused his entourage to look for options elsewhere.
According to Il Messaggero, fate would have it that Aarons was once again offered to Roma a few days ago.
The capital club are seeking reinforcements on both wings seeing as Spinazzola, Kristensen and Karsdorp are set to leave the club in the coming weeks.
For the moment, however, it looks like Roma will focus on other targets before responding to Aarons’ proposal.
