Bitfinex to List ZK, Native Token of zkSync Protocol

ROAD TOWN, British Virgin Islands –  14th June, 2024 – Bitfinex (https://www.bitfinex.com), a premier digital asset trading platform, announced today that it will be listing ZK, the native token of zkSync, a Layer-2 rollup protocol built to scale Ethereum.

Initiated in 2020, zkSync is designed to scale Ethereum without sacrificing the security or decentralisation of the network. It uses zero-knowledge rollups, known as “zk-rollups,” to bundle multiple transactions into one single transaction. This approach increases transaction output while minimising the fees that users have to pay. zkSync reportedly has a Total Value Locked of over $860 million.

zkSync’s native token, ZK, offers holders several options for usage, including staking for rewards, paying network fees, and governance voting rights.
