Roma withdraw highly contested Adidas tracksuit, suspend Chief Commercial Officer Michael Wandell

Roma owners Dan and Ryan Friedkin decided to act in light of the recent protests from the fans regarding the latest Adidas tracksuit.

The much talked about, but above all contested, light blue Adidas sweatshirt was removed from the market at the request of Roma and its owners.

According to Jacopo Aliprandi of Corriere dello Sport, Roma have also started disciplinary proceedings against Chief Commercial and Brand Officer Michael Wandell, responsible, among other things, for the launch of the Adidas kit for the new line of the 2024/25 season.

Wandell has already been suspended from his duties.

The American owners believe that such a serious mistake cannot be made towards the fans, who are rightly resentful.

The Friedkins have always professed to want to be the custodians of Roma and its values and this is why they have arrived at such a strong decision.
