Matías Soulé is at the center of rumors linking him with a move to Roma from Juventus.
The Argentine attacker is the top target for the Giallorossi who are reportedly growing impatient with Juve’s tactics.
Roma presented yesterday a maxi offer of 28 million euros, bonuses included, to reach the Argentine striker owned by the Bianconeri.
An important proposal, the highest received by Juve sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli both in Italy and abroad and which will probably remain so in this market.
West Ham has no ready offers but, on the contrary, is diverting its attention to Crysencio Summerville of Leeds, while Leicester, on the other hand, has not yet presented a serious offer and appears disinterested.
For this reason, Roma imposed an ultimatum on the offer presented yesterday: Juventus will have time to respond to the Giallorossi until midnight, then there will be no new offers to get to Soulé and in that case the Giallorossi would divert their focus on other targets.
Roma sporting director Ghisolfi has long had Soulé’s agreement: the player is pushing together with his agent (who arrived in the Juventus training camp in Germany) to land in the capital.
Now the decision is up to Juve’s Giuntoli on whether to accept the 28 million or whether to wait and hope for a new proposal for the Argentine. For now there are no signals of this type, writes Corriere dello Sport.
