The market is feeling better and better about a recovery from the August rout. AI stocks are rebounding and the market is confident that the economy isn’t so bad and that if it is, the Fed will be there.
I worry that the bond market is sending a different signal but the message could simple be: We’re still in the same disinflationary environment that characterized most of the past 20 years.
