China’s Commerce Ministry urges US to correct ‘wrongdoings’, immediately lift all tariffs

Responding to the US imposing tariffs on Chinese goods, China’s Commerce Ministry spokesperson said on Thursday that the action is ‘adding insult to injury’ The spokesperson said that they “urge the US to correct ‘wrongdoings’, immediately lift all tariffs on Chinese goods.” Market reaction Following these comments, AUD/USD loses 0.12% on the day to trade near 0.6715.
