France September consumer confidence 95 vs 92 expected

  • Prior 92; revised to 93

French household confidence picked up again in September, nudging up to its highest since February 2022. It still keeps below the long-term average of 100 but at least overall conditions are improving. Unemployment fears decreased while worries about price pressures also showed signs of easing.
