8th October – Footballing Birthdays

Arsenal’s Ben White celebrates his 27th birthday today. White played 41 times for Brighton and Hove Albion before moving to North London in 2021. He has made 140 appearances for Arsenal, scoring six goals.

UEFA’s Chief of Football Zvonimir Boban is 55 today. He famously played for both the Yugoslavia and Croatian national team during his career.
Boban spent most of his career at AC Milan, where he won four Serie A titles and a Champions League. He was also part of the Croatia team that finished third at the 1998 World Cup in France.

Former Manchester City midfielder Ali Benarbia is 56 today. The Algerian made 71 league appearances for Manchester City and won their Player of the Year Award back in 2001/02. He also played for Monaco, Bordeaux and Paris Saint-Germain before ending his career in Qatar.
