BoJ survey: Nearly 86% of Japanese households expect prices to rise a year from now

In a quarterly survey published on Thursday, the Bank of Japan (BoJ) said that “85.6% of Japanese households expect prices to rise a year from now, compared with 87.5% in the previous survey.” Additional takeaways Japanese households expect inflation to rise by average +10.0% a year from now, median +8.0%.
