Manchester City put on a show at the Etihad Stadium, defeating Sparta Prague 5-0 in their last Champions League match.
Erling Haaland stole the show with a spectacular goal that stunned fans and even boss Pep Guardiola.
City took the lead early, with Phil Foden scoring after a fantastic move including Manuel Akanji.
From that point forward, Guardiola’s players dominated the game, spending most of the time in Sparta’s half.
Haaland doubled City’s lead in the 58th minute with a gravity-defying goal.
Leaping into the air with his back to goal, he volleyed Savinho’s cross past a stunned Peter Vindahl.
Even Guardiola had to check with his staff how Haaland had pulled off the acrobatic strike.
John Stones added a third with a looping header in the 64th minute, and Haaland quickly followed with his second goal just four minutes later.
Matheus Nunes capped off the night by converting a penalty two minutes from time.
The victory keeps City in control of their Champions League group.
