Bitfinex Among First Exchanges to List Newly Launched EURQ and USDQ Stablecoins

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, British Virgin Islands18 November, 2024 – Bitfinex (https://www.bitfinex.com), a premier digital asset trading platform, announced today that they would be among the first exchanges to list EURQ and USDQ, two Euro- and US dollar-referenced e-money tokens (EMTs) issued by Quantoz Payments, an Electronic Money Institution regulated by De Nederlandsche Bank.

Built on the Ethereum blockchain, EURQ and USDQ offer secure, regulated, and transparent stablecoin options to the European digital asset ecosystem, addressing the growing demand for reliable, well-capitalized stablecoins. Quantoz states that having well-regulated, transparent, and fully backed stablecoins is critical to enabling faster, cheaper, and more secure settlements.

“We’re thrilled to be among the first exchanges to list EURQ and USDQ, two stablecoins that bring a new level of regulatory compliance and transparency to the digital asset space. As demand for secure, well-regulated stablecoins continues to grow, EURQ and USDQ represent an important advancement in how blockchain can serve traditional finance needs. Our customers will now have access to stablecoins built for reliability and consumer protection under Europe’s MiCA regulations,” said Henry Child, Head of Tokens at Bitfinex.
