Patoranking breaks silence on social media following sister's tragic death

Nigerian singer Patoranking has made his first social media post since the tragic passing of his sister, Chioma, and her husband, George Onuabuchi.

The couple died in an explosion at their home, which occurred on the day of their son’s birthday, just months after their housewarming ceremony in August 2024.

A neighbor described the scene of the explosion, saying, “It happened in my street. We only heard the sound of an explosion in the afternoon. When we rushed to the compound, smoke was coming out of the new building with all the electronics destroyed, including the ceiling, doors, and windows damaged with glasses.”

The burial of Chioma and George took place on Sunday, November 24, 2024, in their hometown of Uburu, Ebonyi State.

Taking to social media to reflect on the death of his sister and brother in-law, Patoranking shared a heartfelt post on his Instagram story, writing, “Only heaven knows.”

Lastly, the singer’s post is his first public statement since the tragic incident, and it reflects his grief and shock over the loss of his loved ones.
