US November federal budget deficit 367B vs 353B expected

There is plenty of seasonality in monthly budget numbers but this is the largest deficit since August and compares to a deficit of $314 billion last November. The Treasury said calendar adjustments for benefit payments boosted outlays by some $80B compared to the same month in 2023

There are no easy fixes here but Americans might be working longer before collecting Social Security.
