Zalewski, Dovbyk set to start vs Sampdoria, Pellegrini again on the bench

Claudio Ranieri is reportedly making some changes to Roma’s line-up ahead of tonight’s Coppa Italia fixture against Sampdoria.

Following the defeat to Como in the league on the weekend, the veteran technician will also have to deal with the absences of Hummels, Cristante and Kone.

According to Angelo Mangiante of Sky Sport, tonight Ranieri will rely on Dovbyk in attack and Zalewski on the wing, allowing the likes of Paulo Dybala to rest.

In the meantime, another surprising turn of events – captain Lorenzo Pellegrini will once again start on the bench.
