Kim Burrell is looking to shine a spotlight on her time with one of Pop music’s brightest stars: Whitney Houston!

Serving as Houston’s spiritual mentor over the last years of her life, Burrell’s relationship with ‘The Voice’ runs deep – a “sisterhood” the award-winning Gospel star is looking to detail via the forthcoming book ‘Whitney and Me.’

Taking to FOX 5 DC recently, Kim shared news of the tell-all memoir while expressing feelings of nostalgia over her time with the ‘I Will Always Love You’ songstress.

“I miss her so very much, especially during the holidays,” she told the news outlet.

While Burrell said she and Houston promised each other they would never disclose certain details about their friendship while the Pop diva was alive, Kim says she feels now is the time to let the public in.

“I am finally getting that out! It is so hard to talk about, especially now that we just funeralized her mother,” she shared.

At the time of this report the Gospel hitmaker has not confirmed when ‘Whitney and Me’ will hit shelves.
