The MC has been confirmed to perform at the January 20 ceremony with the President-Elect being sworn in as the 47th President of the United States.

Nelly joins previously announced performers Carrie Underwood and the Village People.

The star’s enlisting is interesting as he was not endorsing of Trump in 2017. He told Page Six at the time:

“You know the thing about Donald Trump is that I liked Donald Trump, I did, I just don’t like Donald Trump as my president. He doesn’t surprise me as a person, he surprises me as a president because you don’t expect certain things, certain attitudes.”

Suffice it to say, a lot can change in a matter of years.
