Salah-Eddine discusses joining Roma: “I’m in a huge club.”

Roma’s newest signing, Anass Salah-Eddine, spoke to the club in his first interview.

Earlier today, the player presented himself to the club’s official website.

“This is a really big club, I’m happy to be here. Everyone welcomed me nicely, I feel good.”

“In a few days, the agreement was reached. The club and, in particular, the Friedkin family had a lot of faith in me and wanted me here. I also wanted to come, so everything was very clear.”

“Rensch? I called him before signing. We talked a bit and he only told me positive things about the club, he told me that if I had the chance I should take it and come here.”

“My shirt number? I think everyone knows why it’s a special number for me. I also wore it in my previous club and it’s dedicated to Abdelhak Nouri.”

“I’m a defender who likes to attack, as you said. I’m quick, good at dribbling and I can cut from the outside in.”

“Ranieri? I think he is the best coach one can have. He has a lot of experience, I am young, I have a lot of desire to learn and I think he is the best person to learn from.”

“I think Serie A is the league where you defend best. I’m happy to still be young but to already be here. I have many years to improve and I want to do it.”

“I can’t wait to play the first match at the Olimpico. I heard so many good things about the fans. They are crazy about football and I like that a lot because I am the same, I am very passionate. I think we will like each other.”
