Eurostoxx futures +0.1% in early European trading

  • German DAX futures +0.1%
  • UK FTSE futures +0.1%

European indices suffered quite a setback yesterday with the DAX ending lower by 1.8% and CAC 40 down 1.2%. They missed on a slight recovery in late US trading, which saw the S&P 500 close at a record high. But with US futures struggling in the new day, that’s dampening risk appetite quite a fair bit as well ahead of the open later. S&P 500 futures are down 0.3% currently. Amid all of that, Trump tariffs and geopolitics involving Trump, Russia and Ukraine continue to be a major point of concern.
