Eurostoxx futures +1.9% in early European trading

  • German DAX futures +2.3%
  • UK FTSE futures +0.9%

It’s been a wild week for equities in general and the big swings are continuing in Europe. The DAX closed down by 3.5% yesterday as European indices missed out on the late rebound in US stocks as well. Alongside the news from Germany overnight here, we are setting up for a strong rebound in the session ahead at least. A more positive mood in US futures is also adding to that, with S&P 500 futures no up 0.7% on the day.
