Australian weekly consumer sentiment survey hits its highest since May 2022

A number under 100 for the ANZ-Roy Morgan Australian Consumer Confidence index indicates net pessimism

For the latest survey, its come in at 89.8 and its highest since May 2022:

  • prior was 85.1

Still pessimistic but not as much.

The Reserve Bank of Australia rate cut and still strong jobs numbers are cited by ANZ as the reason for jump in the week.
