BREAKING: Visit 36 states to understand citizens’ plight, Peter Obi tells Tinubu, gives reasons

President Bola Tinubu has been advised to make out time to visit all the 36 states across the country.

This advise was given to the president by the 2023 presidential candidate for the Labour Party, Peter Obi.

Speaking in a video seen by Politics Nigeria, Obi said it is important for the president to visit the states to understand the plights faced by Nigerians.

“You (Tinubu) should dedicate 20 per cent of 2025, roughly 72 days to visit each of the 36 states for two days each.

“As a president, such visit would give you an opportunity to better understand the dire economic and security situations across the country,” Obi said.

Also decrying the state of health facilities across the country, Obi encouraged the president to start making use of Nigerian hospitals for his medical checks.

Obi said, “It is time you visit our national hospitals and health facilities.

“You may consider for a example that your next medical examination be conducted in one of our national hospitals or regional Federal Medical Centres such as FMCs in Sokoto, Birnin Kebbi, Calabar or Umuahia or Akure among others,” Obi stated.
