Chelsea winger, Noni Madueke no longer eligible to represent Super Eagles

Chelsea winger, Noni Madueke, is no longer eligible to play for Nigeria.

This follows his England debut against Finland on Tuesday night.

Madueke came on in the 66th minute to replace Bukayo Saka with the Three Lions leading 1-0.

The 22-year-old had been included in England’s squad for the Nations League fixtures against Ireland and Finland.

Interim manager, Lee Carsley, called up Madueke following his fine start to the 2024/2025 campaign.

Madueke already has four goals this season, having scored in the 2-0 in the UEFA Conference League play-off first leg against Servette.

The former PSV man also grabbed a hat-trick as Chelsea hammered Wolves 6-2.
