Defamation: Dammy Krane allegedly arrested, to face criminal charges against Davido

Nigerian singer, Dammy Krane has been apprehended and is poised to confront criminal charges pertaining to his unfounded accusations against his peer, Davido.

CREEBHILLS reported that some days prior to Davido’s wedding, Dammy Krane had publicly labeled the artist a murderer, asserting that Davido was entering into marriage solely because Chioma had discovered his infidelity.

This proclamation has resulted in significant repercussions for Dammy, as Davido’s legal representative issued him a 24-hour ultimatum to retract all disparaging remarks made against Davido across his social media platforms.

Furthermore, he was instructed to abstain from disseminating any additional defamatory statements regarding Davido on any medium or risk encountering legal repercussions.

Undeterred by the impending lawsuit, Dammy Krane persisted in asserting that he had witnessed the actions of Davido in relation to the late Tagbo, who was a personal acquaintance of his.

Currently, CREEBHILLS has ascertained that the artist is to be subjected to criminal charges for his defamatory remarks and slanderous publications directed towards the aforementioned artist.

It is pertinent to recall that for several years, Davido and Dammy Krane have been embroiled in conflict following the latter’s allegations that Davido is indebted to him. In retaliation, Davido has emphasized his previous support for Dammy Krane, which included provision of shelter during his period of homelessness. Nonetheless, Dammy Krane has contended that such assistance does not absolve Davido of the fiscal obligation he owes.

This contention has intensified over time, with Dammy Krane consistently denouncing Davido on social media platforms, alleging that he is a recurrent debtor. He has even asserted that the artist nearly attempted to harm him, recounting his traumatic near-fatal experience at a nightclub in Lagos late last year.

In the latter part of the previous year, when businessman Abu Salami publicly criticized Davido, Dammy Krane resumed his campaign against him, imploring the affluent musician to remit the owed sum for the benefit of his daughter, whose educational fees are pending.

In response, Davido recounted the instances when he provided accommodation and sustenance for Dammy in Atlanta during his period of homelessness, as well as detailing how he recorded three verses for Dammy’s song without receiving any compensation.

Dammy retorted, elucidating the circumstances surrounding his accommodation by Davido, while simultaneously casting aspersions on him regarding the series of deaths that have transpired within his circle.
