Economic hardship: Tinubu deserves credit, doesn’t sleep till 5am – Sunday Dare

The Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu regarding Public Communications and Orientation, Sunday Dare, articulates that his superior merits commendation for the abolition of the fuel subsidy.

Sunday Dare articulated this assertion during an appearance on Channels Television’s Politics Today, urging for patience in relation to the reforms instituted by the Tinubu administration.

He asserted that the president is exerting considerable effort to rectify the existing challenges and fulfill his commitments to the nation.

He remarked that the elimination of the fuel subsidy, alongside other reforms implemented by the Tinubu administration, constitutes a series of audacious initiatives.

He noted that his principal opted for a less conventional path by instituting such policies.

Notwithstanding the adverse ramifications of these programs,Sunday Dare contended that the actions undertaken by Tinubu are aimed at addressing the underlying issues.

“Tinubu is adept at governance. [He is] a man who burns the midnight oil when other men of easy virtue are carousing around.

“This is a man I worked with for seven years and we sleep at 4, 5, 6 in the morning,” the former minister of sports and youth development said.

It is important to recall that demonstrations against the severe economic conditions transpired in August of this year, followed by another in October, as a concerted effort to encourage the president to reassess the policies.

Although Tinubu has recognized the challenges engendered by the reforms of his administration, he remains steadfast in their implementation, appealing to Nigerians for patience, as the anticipated benefits are expected to materialize in due course.
