New manager of the Red Devils, Ruben Amorim has confirmed the return of Lisandro Martinez from injury confirming he would be available for selection on Thursday, November 27, 2024.
The Man United boss made this confirmation in his pre-match press conference ahead of the fixture against Glimt.
He also confirmed the return of Harry Maguire indicating that he would not be available for the club until their weekend game against Everton in the Premier League.
He stated, “Not Harry, [but] Licha is ready. He didn’t stop too much time, so I feel he is ready. The situation is different to Harry’s.”
Speaking on Leny Yoro’s absence Amorim said, “He is training. We believe a lot of him and we are preparing the best way to start with Leny.”
The 39-year-old emphasized that fans should anticipate rotation and changes to the team facing Bodo/Glimt, as training schedules clash with matches.
“They [the squad] is already split,” he said. “If Bruno [Fernandes] plays tomorrow, he cannot train for two days. He can only train slowly. Some of the guys will field the game, some of the guys will train the next day.”
