Eurostoxx futures +0.5% in early European trading

  • German DAX futures +0.7%
  • UK FTSE futures +0.5%

Considering geopolitical and trade developments, it’s tough to pin a reason to the late bid in US stocks on Friday. Other markets were not in sync on the move as well. That makes me inclined to think it could some last-minute rebalancing flows on month-end but for tech shares i.e. Nasdaq, it comes as dip buyers defend a test of the 200-day moving average as well. For now, there is a slightly better mood in the new week/month with S&P 500 futures also seen up 0.2%.
