Four Athletic fans at risk of being banned following flare incident at Stadio Olimpico

A group of Athletic Club fans are looking to be punished for aggressive behavior during the recent match involving the Basque team and Roma.

During the Europa League match between Roma and Athletic, which ended in a 1-1 draw, some supporters of the Spanish team were the protagonists of episodes of violence in the stands.

In particular, four Basque fans were reported for throwing flares in the direction of the Monte Mario section, where families and Roma fans were present.

According to Ansa, the police, during checks at the entrance to the Stadio Olimpico, found the four fans in possession of flares.

Now, they could be subject to a ban, with prohibited access to stadiums all over Europe for periods that vary depending on the seriousness of the violations committed.
