France April preliminary CPI +2.2% vs +2.2% y/y expected

Headline annual inflation eases further in France, closing in on the 2% mark. The EU-harmonised reading is seen steady at 2.4% in April though. But all in all, the numbers here won’t do anything to derail the ECB from a June rate cut.
