Freddie Mac: US and 30 year mortgage rises to 6.79%

Freddie Mac’s 30-year mortgage rate for the week of November 7 rises to 6.79% from 6.72% last week. That is the highest level since 11.

Looking at the chart, the price is back above its 100 week MA for what it is worth at 6.76%

What the chart also says is the recent low (and low for the year) stalled at the low from 2023.
