Germany June unemployment change 19k vs 15k expected

German unemployment rose more than expected in June, with the jobless rate also ticking a little higher back to 6.0%. On the latter, that is the highest reading since May 2021. This is an added sign that the slump in the manufacturing sector is starting to bite as employment conditions in Europe’s largest economy.
