Highlights of Manchester City vs Arsenal

The Manchester City vs Arsenal match at the Etihad Stadium was an absolute thriller for supporters and neutrals because the result could determine the eventual Champions

The game got off to a fiery start with a VAR check just seconds after kickoff, as Kai Havertz bumped into Rodri, but was deemed as just a body bump no malice involved from the German.

Erling Haaland put Manchester City ahead after just nine minutes, but Arsenal equalized through Riccardo Calafiori’s thunderous strike into the top right corner. The match continued intensely, with Arsenal taking the lead through Gabriel’s header from a corner, but disaster struck when Leandro Trossard received a second yellow card, reducing Arsenal to ten men.

Despite being down a man, Arsenal defended valiantly, but Manchester City’s pressure eventually paid off. In the 97th minute, John Stones broke Arsenal’s hearts with a late equalizer, snatching a draw for Manchester City.

The 2-2 draw leaves Liverpool two points clear at the top of the Premier League, having dropped their first points of the season. Mikel Arteta’s men showed incredible resilience, and although they didn’t secure the win, they earned a valuable point at the Etihad
