How PSG Clinched Their 12th Ligue 1 Title

Paris Saint-Germain, crowned champions of France for the 12th time in their storied history. With Monaco stumbling in Lyon, losing 3-2, PSG’s 12-point lead with three matches remaining means the Ligue 1 title is theirs once again. This marks their 10th championship in the last 12 seasons—a truly dominant run.

Despite a rocky start under Luis Enrique, with a couple of draws and a loss early on, PSG quickly found their stride. No other team could keep up this season. In fact, their only loss in the league came against Nice, in a thrilling 3-2 setback at home.

Now, with the league title secured, all eyes are on the upcoming Champions League semi-final. PSG faces Borussia Dortmund this Wednesday at the Parc des Princes, with the return leg next Tuesday in Germany. A win over Dortmund could set them up for a historic showdown in the final against either Bayern Munich or Real Madrid at Wembley on June 1st.

And let’s not forget, just a week before possibly hitting the pitch at Wembley, PSG could clinch their 15th French Cup title against Lyon. Already boasting the Trophée des Champions from last summer, PSG is on track for an unprecedented quadruple.

It’s an exciting time for PSG fans as the team gears up for what could be a historic close to the season. Here’s hoping they carry this momentum into their remaining challenges!
