‘I don’t love music, It’s used to take people’s souls’ – Odumodublvck

The rapper rather prefers to be loyal to football, his friends, and his mother.

Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu, widely known as Odumodublvck, recently made a surprising revelation: he doesn’t love music.

The Anti-World Gangstar member, who was recently nominated for “Best International Flow” at the BET Hip-Hop Awards but didn’t take home the win, followed up with a short documentary offering a deep dive into his personal life and career. The 18-minute documentary, produced by Nigerian content creator Ugobaby, featured the rapper sharing intimate backstories about his brand and personality.

Speaking candidly about his career and feelings towards music, Odumodublvck revealed that he doesn’t love music, explaining that it doesn’t give anything for free but instead “takes” from you. He even stated that music can be used to “take people’s souls.” Instead, he said, his true affections are reserved for football, his friends, and his mother.

While his statement might seem shocking on the surface, it’s possible Odumodublvck was referring more to the harsh realities of the music industry than the art form itself. The documentary delved into the Abuja-bred artist’s journey, touching on his past, present, and future career plans, offering fans a glimpse into the mind of one of Nigeria’s most enigmatic rising stars.
