globalreutersNovember 13, 20241 Mins read John Thune (So Dakota) has been elected Senate Majority Leader. Is not universally loved amongst the Republicans especially the far right MAGA. The competitors were Senators John Cornyn of Texas and Rick Scott of Florida. Rick Scott was not much of a threat. Thune beat Cornyn in the dirrect secret ballot between the two.
